Montreal's Machines
Last Stand of the 251

Its the late 1980s and across Quebec Alco products reigned supreme.
The Canadian Pacific operated pure sets of MLWs on its main line
and several branch lines, along with its subsidiary, the Quebec Central.
Once finding the trains, railfans entered a land forgotten,
with big & small MLWs hauling freight in much of Quebec & between Montreal
and the Maritimes, servicing the port of Saint John, New Brunswick
and providing rail access for the paper mills in Northern Maine.

"The camera work on both DVDs is rock steady, accompanied by correct captions and an appropriate amount of narration."
-TRAINS Magazine - May, 2011

"The producer has carefully edited this varied material into logical groupings of activity"  "Excellent line maps are presented for orientation"
-Railfan & Railroad Magazine - February, 2011
