It’s the late
1980’s and across Quebec Alco products reigned supreme.
The Canadian Pacific operated pure sets of MLW’s on its main line
and several branch lines, along with its subsidiary, the Quebec Central.
Once finding the trains, railfans entered a land forgotten,
with big & small MLW’s hauling freight in much of Quebec & between
and the Maritimes, servicing the port of Saint John, New Brunswick
and providing rail access for the paper mills in Northern Maine.
"The camera work on both DVDs is rock steady,

are presented for orientation" -Railfan & Railroad Magazine - February, 2011
